Sublimation transfer printing is to print portraits, landscapes, text and other graphics and texts on inkjet paper for sublimation transfer printing in a mirror image using an inkjet printer equipped with sublimation transfer ink, and then heat them to At about 200°C, the thermal transfer ink on the sublimation paper sublimates and penetrates into the substrate, so that the color image on the paper can be vividly transferred to a material such as textiles, porcelain cups, porcelain plates, porcelain plates, and metals.
For now the sublimation paper mainly includes the dye sublimation paper and sticky sublimation paper.
The use of sublimation transfer paper
1. To use special sublimation transfer ink
Be sure to use sublimation transfer inks, inks made with disperse dyes that sublimate and dye the substrate at transfer temperatures. Good quality dye sublimation ink should not block the nozzle, the color is vivid and the stability is good.
2 Adjust the appropriate color density
Adjust the density of the color in the computer to avoid the situation where too much ink is not easy to dry. After the adjustment, you need to check the effect of the thermal transfer.
3. Adjust the appropriate hot pressing temperature and time
The temperature range of thermal transfer is about 180-230°C, and the time is about 10-30 seconds. Before the formal batch transfer, a small test should be done to determine the best process parameters.
4. The hot pressing surface must be close to the heat transfer printing
During heat transfer printing, the heat pressing surface, transfer paper, and the surface of the substrate must be in close contact with each other without gaps, otherwise the image and text on the transfer will be blurred.
5. Advantages of sublimation transfer printing
Sublimation transfer printing has bright and rich colors, and its effect is comparable to that of printing. Sublimation transfer printing is to make sublimation ink penetrate into the object under high temperature, and form a bright image after sublimation. So, the heat transfer products are durable and the images will not fall off, crack and fade.
