Chapter 1: Overview

The primary purpose of the cast coater is to produce high-quality printed materials such as fine art prints, color advertisements, calendars, stickers, trademarks, trade patterns, greeting cards, invitations, and gift bags. The 1092mm cast coating production line is designed for single-sided coated paper with a basis weight of 50-250g/m², ideal for producing high-gloss coated paper like glass cards. The total coating amount ranges from 10-35g/m², with a design speed of 30m/min.

Chapter 3: Structure Description

1. Production Process

Paper feeding device → Air knife coating → Oven drying (3.75m × 2 units) → Shiny cylinder ø2000mm (ø1500mm) → Rolling device

2. Structure Description

Paper Feeding Device:Equipped with a new electric paper feeding system.

Air Knife Coating Unit:Comprises a frame, air knife body, backing roll, coating roll, and trough component. The air knife features a stainless steel blade with an adjustable gap of 0.4-1.0mm, mounted on a frame for uniform coating control. The backing roll (ø299mm) and coating roll (ø200mm) are chrome-plated. The coating roll is driven by a 0.75kw motor. The lifting platen roller (ø100mm) is also chrome-plated and manually adjustable.

Drying Section:Consists of two hot air drying ovens (3.75m each), with 2.2kw hot air blowers and aluminum heat exchangers. The drying system includes stainless steel cabinets with hot air nozzles and chrome guide rollers (ø100mm).

Shiny Cylinders:After drying, the coated paper is fed into a ø2000mm (ø1500mm) shiny cylinder, where the coating is pressed and dried to achieve a high-gloss finish. The cylinder is made of mirror-finished chrome steel, powered by a 5.5kw electromagnetic motor. It includes a ø470mm light pressure roll, an air rotary joint, and pressure control devices.

Rolling Device:Comprises a chassis, transmission parts, adjustable rollers, and a ø55 × 1730 reel. The transmission speed is controlled by torque.

Base Frame:Made of T-slot structured cast iron base plate, with welded steel frame guards and a tread plate walkway.

Custom Coating Preparation:Configured according to customer production requirements.

Equipment Range:Includes main device up to flange ports.
